Entry from: Fort Worth, United States Entry Title: "Holidays in Texas to Arizona in March 2008" Entry: "Well, we made it back to Fort Worth in time for Thanksgiving. We did stop off in Big Bend National Park for several dayson the way to Fort Worth. Went to Santa Elena Canyon, and just about all over the park. Big, wild and beautiful! Ed's sister, Rita from Idaho, and sister Eva and her husband, Paul, from Florida, joined us for an absolutely wonderful time. We stayed in our Motorcoach at my daughter's place and Eva and Paul were in their pop-up not far from us at Cowtown RV. Daughter Cyndi's house was the center of activity for the family. Went over on Thanksgiving Eve and did some cooking. Got the turkey in the oven. Kim and I had already done some cooking at her and Jim's house earlier ... pies, cornbread dressing and cakes. It was wonderful to be back home with all the family and friends. We had an wonderful time. We even had snow on Thanksgiving Day! On Friday, Kim and Jim hosted Rita, Eva and Paul and Ed and I with a fantastic steak dinner. All had a great time, though I was late because of a Dr's appointment. Spent lots of the days with our children and grandchildren and friends. The rest of the time, between Thanksgiving and Christmas was spent busily making necklaces for all the women ...
